As an ordained minister with The Foursquare Church, Dr. Sandy Shoemaker has been continuously involved in public ministry as both a pastor and counselor for over 40 years. He has been used by God to start several new churches and to pastor existing congregations in both Texas and California. His professional training has earned him a Bachelor of Science, Masters, and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Pastoral Counseling. Armed with both extensive formal training and real-life experience, Sandy is able to relate to and assist many people who are encountering difficulties in life. His gentle and loving nature seems to set people at ease and allow them to open up to the help he is able to provide.

Sandy came to Park Community Church in 2009 and served faithfully as the lead pastor until his retirement in 2021.  He remains an inspirational part of the church family and has a heart to serve wherever God leads him.

Sandy lives in Orangevale, CA with his wife Suzy. Married since 1977, the Shoemakers have two grown daughters, and four grandchildren.
