Jacob Ricketts grew up in Placerville, CA and came to know Christ at a very young age.  He met his wife, Kelly, at their church where they both served on the worship team.  Shortly after their marriage in 2007 they went on a mission trip to Niger, Africa where they were challenged with the question, “what is God calling us to do?”  Over the next 12 years they were involved with Courage Worldwide, an organization that rescues children from sex trafficking, went through the adoption process, and began a foster / adoption ministry in their church.  It was during this time that Jacob discovered his passion for studying God’s word and teaching it to others.

In 2021, God called Jacob out of his career as a software developer and into full-time ministry as the lead pastor of Park Community Church. Jacob and Kelly now live in Shingle Springs, CA with their four children and they are excited to see what God has in store for their family and the church.
